Non-Profit Partnerships

Breaking Barriers Yoga believes the physical, mental and emotional benefits of yoga should be available to all, regardless of financial circumstances, gender, age, background and challenges.

As a non-profit yoga studio, we desire to partner with other area non-profits to increase access to yoga, meditation and mindfulness training to the underserved in our Broome County and surrounding areas.

Would your volunteer or non-profit organization like to request the support of Breaking Barriers Yoga?

To proceed you must attend one of our monthly board meetings and present your project to our members.  In presenting, please prepare a one-page document with the following information (and more if you have it!):

  • What support you are looking for?
  • Why you are looking for this support?
  • What inspired you to seek out this service?
  • How many people will be involved?
  • What type of commitment you seek (days/times/number of weeks, etc.)

NOTE: We only offer support for volunteer and not-for-profit initiatives. If the effort you are seeking support for is affiliated with a business or an agency, we encourage you to reach out to our partner studio, Yoga Body Shop in Johnson City.
